One of my favorite things to do in the mornings is wake up around sunrise, grab my camera, and then venture around the city to capture photographs of landmarks and works of art.

Last week I was on the hunt for a specific art installation I researched online. Visual artist Jessica Bradsher specializes in metal sculpture and painting and created a breathtaking piece called Einfühlung: Loss. The piece is steel, cast aluminum, and is located in downtown Wilmington, NC.

The sculpture is part of a selection of ten new pieces revealed this year that serve to energize the streetscape and highlight the rich and active arts culture in Wilmington.
