Facebook: ‘Manic Monday’

Last night on 60 Minutes, former Facebook product manager turned whistleblower, Frances Haugen, was dropping bombshells and leaking info that has made today one of the worst days for the social media giant.

Haugen filed a series of complaints with federal regulators and was sure to hit that “copy” button before she left the office. Numerous internal documents were copied and released so that the company’s misdeeds could not be buried.

This makes today all the more suspicious, but not surprising, that as Facebook stocks drop into crimson red, there is a global “outage” of Facebook platforms: Facebook, Instagram, and What’sApp.

A large reason I created this website is so that I would not be tied down by the questionable “outages” of other social media platforms. This is in addition to the continuous suppression of Black voices and enabling of anti-Black, anti-Semitic, anti-Trans, etc. speech. This includes allowing violent, white delusional posts and groups that come together to plan things like the coup attempt on the Capitol.

So, what are you doing today while almost all platforms except Twitter and LinkedIn are down?
